Blissful Outdoor Wedding Show (BOWS) 2009 was held Merchant Loop at the wide expense of land overlooking the Singapore River at the end of scenic Clarke Quay. It was the perfect setting for the dreamy, air-conditioned enclosure designed for the event. Using Mongolian marquees provided by Nanyang Canopy, the romantic, medieval-like castle housed fabulous bridal boutiques, professional hoteliers and many other bridal vendors with alluring packages to tempt and entice.

Couples were in for a treat at the 3-day event. The hotels went all out this year, from the classy decor of Crowne Plaza Changi Airport, to the themed dinners of Grand Mercure Roxy Singapore, to the exclusive packages from Holiday Inn Atrium and Holiday Inn Parkview, to the luxurious grand ballroom concept from Intercontinental Singapore. Couples were so attracted to the irresistible packages that many of them signed up on the spot.

If a princess had to choose between her tiara and her beautiful gown, the choice would be obvious. The gown is, to a bride, almost as important as the wedding ring. Showcasing their latest gowns, the bridal boutiques excelled in their own stunning and unique ways. Attendees this year included Bliss Bridal Creations, Bridal Concept, Double Up Bridal House, Fame Bridal, La Belle Couture, Seletar Broadway, Sattine Bridal Couture, Signoria Nuziale, The Aisle Bridal Boutique, Thomson Wedding Collection, WhiteLink, X-Zen Bridal, Yvonne Creative and Z Wedding D’sign – the largest gown showcase ever in BOWS history.
